What is Ceramic Saddle Ring?

Ceramic saddle ring belongs to a type of ceramic tower packing, which is processed by continuous extrusion process. Compared with the ceramic raschig ring of the same material, ceramic saddle ring has the advantages of large flux, low pressure and high efficiency. The bed has a large void ratio, and most of the liquid channels in the bed are circular arc, which reduces the resistance of the gas through the bed, and also reduces the radial diffusivity when the liquid flows downward. The shape of ceramic saddle ring is between that of annular and saddle shape, so it has the advantages of both. This structure is beneficial to liquid distribution and increase gas passage. Because of its high density and excellent acid and heat resistance, ceramic saddle ring can resist corrosion of various inorganic acids, organic acids and organic solvents except hydrofluoric acid. Ceramic saddle ring can be used in chemical industry, metallurgy, gas, environmental protection and other industries of drying tower, absorption tower, cooling tower, washing tower, regeneration tower.
